Costumes, a downtown festival, and a little time to make something together: October 24 has the makings of a colorful family Saturday in Delray Beach. If you are planning your day around Kidsfest, here is a simple way to enjoy the festival and keep the creativity going afterward.

Start with Kidsfest at Old School Square

Kidsfest takes place Saturday, October 24, 2026, from 11 AM to 3 PM at Old School Square, 51 N Swinton Ave. The City of Delray Beach Parks and Recreation Department presents this free family event, with Halloween fun, food, vendors, arts and crafts, and entertainment. Costumes are encouraged. Check the official Kidsfest listing before heading out for the latest organizer information.

Pottery U Paint Delray will be there as a vendor. Stop by our tent during festival hours and say hello! We are calling our studio tie-in Boo, Paint & Play! because a day that starts with Halloween inspiration deserves a colorful next chapter.

Keep the fun going at the studio

Our studio is at 7 S. Swinton Ave in downtown Delray Beach, next to Tin Roof. We will be open our regular Saturday hours, 11 AM–10 PM, so your painting visit can fit before, during, or after the festival. The vendor tent is part of Kidsfest's 11 AM–3 PM window; after that, the place to find us is the studio.

Let everyone choose their own direction: Halloween colors, a favorite pattern, or something completely unexpected. You do not need a matching family masterpiece. Half the fun is seeing how differently everyone approaches the same paint-filled afternoon.

Do we need a reservation?

Walk-ins are welcome. No reservation is needed for a regular studio visit. Bringing a larger group? A group reservation helps you plan together, with up to 20 guests per reservation. Regular table reservations are free; pottery is purchased separately. Parties and organized events have their own booking arrangements.

Kidsfest admission and studio painting are separate experiences. Free festival admission does not include pottery at the studio.

A relaxed plan for your family

Keep your itinerary flexible. Enjoy the festival, take a break when your crew needs one, and make painting the next stop instead of squeezing every activity into one hour. Coming from Boca Raton or Boynton Beach? Use the downtown Delray locations to plan your route and parking before leaving home, and allow a little extra time on a busy event Saturday.

For pottery pickup timing, ask our team when you choose your piece. If you want something ready for a particular occasion, check with us before painting so we can help you plan.

Questions about bringing your crew? Call (561) 857-1500 or visit our contact page. We would love to help you plan a colorful stop at Delray's Most Colorful Hangout.

One rule, just have fun.
